SPORTEC™ 01 brings Dynatread™ patented technology - the dynamic tread pattern, first introduced with ROADTEC™ 02 - into the supersport world. At high pace, during braking or acceleration, the grooves dynamically compress, increasing the contact patch and lateral grip even at high lean angles allowing SPORTEC™ 01 to evolve from a supersport into a hypersport tire.
At low pace, the grooves under the footprint grant an optimal water evacuation and proper tread mobility, that contribute to quick warm-up and contact-patch conformability, hence better comfort and grip.

Tread design, innovative compounds and its layout provide SPORTEC™ 01 with great versatility, ensuring performance from cold, wet urban riding to track use.
The grooves are designed to evacuate water efficiently, improving grip and control in wet and cold environments, supported also by a shorter warm-up time delivered by the high silica compound present in both tires.
The dual compound layout, softer on shoulders, together with Dynatread™ technology delivers high levels of grip to face the most demanding conditions, as aggressive lean angles or fierce accelerations.

Unified front and rear design
SPORTEC™ 01 features an identical tread pattern for both front and rear tire, a symmetry that delivers a balanced and predictable riding experience.
The front tire's structure is composed of two rayon plies combined with a 0° steel belt, providing superior support throughout all phases of maneuvering. The rear tire's structure - also composed of a 0° steel belt but on a single rayon ply - maximizes the contact patch and ensures strong support during acceleration, both in straight-line and corner exit scenarios.
These structural solutions support the latest generation of motorcycles and electronic control systems, enabling riders to fully exploit the tire's potential with confidence.

The tire features a high-silica dual-compound layout, with 20% allocated to the center (grey area) and 40% to each shoulder (green areas).
- The center compound is engineered to be more rigid with lower hysteresis, enhancing stability across both low and high speeds.
- In contrast, the shoulder compounds are softer and exhibit higher hysteresis, delivering superior grip during cornering and acceleration.
A key innovation lies in the base layer: by incorporating the same high-performance compound used in the shoulders, it ensures a more uniform grip profile and consistent performance under demanding conditions.
It features a high silica dual compound with evenly distributed layout: 33% each across centre (grey area) and shoulders (green areas)
The hypersport-oriented dual compound delivers optimal grip across a wide range of temperatures and conditions, while its balanced distribution ensures consistent performance from upright riding to deep lean angles
